The following are excerpts from the journals of the semi-fictitious character “Nadia Ross” who appears in many of STO Union shows and plays.
The character is a minority anglophone Quebecer, born and raised in the Outaouais, on un-ceeded Algonquin land.
Although raised by a french mother from Rivière-du-Loup, her writing is often in english or a combination of both french and english, called ‘frenglish’ in the Gatineau Hills where she was raised .
